3 week old Boxer Baby

Sabrina's surgery was done. She is doing very well resting, accepting the bottle and on pain meds.

She will return to her Mom for 5 weeks as soon as the vet feels she is stable enough.

Sabrina is a sweet 3 week old Boxer who is in the emergency hospital right now having her front right leg amputated. Mama had 10 pups and somehow broke her leg. The broken leg was misdiagnosed and became infected and her poor paw turned black which mean bad news. Her owner a very regretful owner now realizes she made a huge mistake breeding her Boxers and has vowed to educate anyone on the dangers and mistakes that can be made if you do not know what you are doing. She has surrendered Sabrina to us since she does not have the money to give her the desperate medical care she needs. She will go back to Mama after surgery tomorrow and stay with mom until she turns 8 weeks old then she will be put up for adoption. In the meantime we will have Dad Neutered and Mom after she has cared for her pups.
